Lunch is provided at the event! At this informal roundtable lunch discussion, a discussion is going to be about love and dating in Asian Pacific American cultures. The federal anti-miscegenation law was only deemed unconstitutional in 1967: How is interracial dating viewed in the context of the larger Asian Pacific American community? Come share your thoughts and questions over lunch! Raas Royalty has become one of the largest cultural shows in and around the state of Indiana.  Held at the Indiana University Auditorium in Bloomington, Indiana, the event creates an opportunity to get a taste of the vast tradition of South Asia.  Eight teams from across the nation travel and compete in a type of Indian dance called Raas Garba.  Originally a more traditional form of dance, it has evolved and become part of a competitive dance circuit.  Along with putting on such a colorful display of Indian culture, the event raises money for its partnering organization, Timmy Global Health.

As the largest international students organization in IU, we have been serving students at IU since 1990s. Spring Festival is the most important annual celebration in China, and the Celebration Gala is also the biggest and most fantastic event hold by our CSSA. With the aim to improve the culture diversity in IU campus and bring all students together as a whole, the Celebration Gala will be absolutely free and you are all very welcomed to attend. Free food service is from 5-7 pm, with performances from 7-9 pm.
